Can you get your marriage license in the city if you live in Nassau county?

yes! the marriage license is for the state of NY so it does not matter what county you live in when you obtain it.

Yes your can!

Fill out the application online first and then go get your license. Take with you the confirmation #, and ss#'s and ID. It's pretty easy. No birth certificate necessary.

No birth certificate is allowed in NYC but if you get your license in Nassau or Suffolk you need your birth certificate.

I went to LI to get mine and we just needed our birth certificates and our passports.

did mine in the city all we brought was passports. . and we did do it online first and then it took about 20 minutes when we were there. . short wait then about 2 minutes at the window
