Marriage License in Suffolk?

I am getting married June 2001, Fiance lives in Suffolk County. We are getting married in Nassau County. I live in Richmond County (Staten Island) now. Where do I go for the marriage license? I am a little confused as to where to go. We will be living in Suffolk County. Thanks for any help.

Marriage License in Suffolk?

You can get the license anywhere in the state where you will be married.

Marriage License in Suffolk?

I think it's a few dollars in the 5 boroughs, $30 as opposed to $25. Not that that merits a special trip, but if you're in the area....

Marriage License in Suffolk?

I don't remember where I heard this, but it's better to get the license in the county in which you will be married. That way, in case there's a problem, it can be fixed more easily.

Marriage License in Suffolk?

We live and are getting married in Nassau, but got our license in Suffolk - easy as pie took less than 1/2 hour at Town of Babylon Hall. She mentioned how they keep copies, etc. in case there is ever any problem...we chose that because it was closest!
