do you need to do blood tests or anything before? or do you just go to town hall with the proper ID and get it?
sorry for my silly question.

uh oh....FH and I sent our BC's out for our passport....our wedding is in 32 days.....i was planning on going for the ML on the 11th....will they accept 2 state issued ID's? I have my LPN license and drivers license....
i highly suggest you go to a place in NYC. most long island town halls require the birth certificate. this is the info straight from the planning link from this site about marrying in nyc. your driver's license and LPN license would only count for identity but not age. plus your FH would need 2 documents as well
you can always try a long island town hall first--but they can be tough w/o the age identity
Proof of Age and Identity A person is required to establish proof of age and identity by submitting to the issuing clerk one of the following age related documents:
Birth Certificate Baptismal record Naturalization record Census record
And one of the following identity related documents:
Driver's license Passport Employment picture ID Immigration record
when did you submit your passport? are you going on a HM right after the wedding?
