i know we have between 60 days and 24 hours prior to the wedding to get our license. we live n pa so its hard for us to get to NY during the week. would it be ok if we waited till the monday before our wedding to get it or is that cutting it too close? we're getting married on a sunday.

Re: marriage license question-time frame
I think that should be fine (but i'm no expert!)
we got ours today and we were in and out within 40 minutes.

You should be ok-just make sure to bring all documentation that you need. Otherwise, they give you the license right then and there.

if you are getting married in a church, i think they might need it earlier. you might want to check with them on a timeframe.

that should be fine. They give it to you right then & there, so as long as you don't wait til Wednesday or later you should be fine. Monday still gives you almost a week, so that's plenty of time.
