is getting 'married' at city hall the same thing as getting your marriage license?
also, your marriage license is what you bring with you to your ceremony right?
TIA <3

no...getting married at city hall is actually getting married. Getting your marriage license is just getting the actual papers. They are completed at the ceremony.

Nope, you just get the marriage license, and then at your actual ceremony, you will be married. Unless you're not having a ceremony at your wedding, then you need to do it at city hall.

after getting ur license, they give u 90 days to have a 'ceremony' which basically means having a clerk, or officiant signing the paper, ur signatures and a witness, u can do this in city hall or any town hall or in church.
