Married and still didn't book Honeymoon

Can't decide on where to go! We have time off to go in November but still did not book our hm. We are looking for an all inclusive resort in the Caribbean. There seem to be tons of deals right now, but I can't decide which one to book. Any suggestions?

-The closer the trip from the airport the better.

I went to Breezes (Superclub) in bahamas. Everything was all inclusive and there was a shuttle taking us to and from the airport-which was maybe a 20 minute ride.

Their prices were very reasonable (this was in 2003) but I've looked at their prices again and it was still pretty reasonable.

I am definitly considering a Sandals. My best friend went to Sandals Jamaica on her honeymoon and hated it. Sandals Bahamas is supposed to be great and reasonable.

Are you guys using a travel agent or booking yourselves...

Anyone been to Sandals Antigua or Couples Negril?

I booked mine a few days after the wedding and then left two days after that. Try bookit.com for some all-inclusive deals. We had a really hard time picking a place so I'm not of much help.

You should look into Punta Cana. There are many nice all inclusives there.

We stayed at the Majestic Elegance but I wouldn't really recommend if after our stay.. It's brand new but has tons of problems with the workmanship that was put into it.

I hear the Majestic Colonial is very nice. I would also look into the Paradisus resorts.

If you go to tripadvisor.com and type in Punta Cana and then click on hotels, you get a list of hotels in the order of customer ranking.

You should also try to look into booking with CheapCaribbean.com.

definitely sandals or couples resorts. sandals is ussually cheaper then couples resorts and is more popular.

Sandals bahamas is only a 2.5 hour flight and 10 min from the airport once you are there.

They were just having sales, I'm not sure if they're still going with them but periodically they do like 65% off.

I'm not sure what the pros and cons of booking through a travel agent are- but ours typically gets us an upgrade so we use her.
