I had more Post Wedding Aggravation after being screwed over by my florist and p.o'd at my church for messing up big time.

Just think, if you and FH are planning on having kids one day, that'll be another thing to plan and look forward to!!!

Who wouldn't be sad? We have looked forward to this day for so long, and for the last year or two we have spent all of our time planning for the most special day of our lives to date! But all things come to an end, and we have other special things to look forward to, like buying a house and having a family. I miss wedding planning like any of us still on the board do, but I remember our day fondly and look forward to the good things to come. You will get over the sadness soon and only think about the happy memories of the wedding day.

A little bit. But, every now and then, when I'm sitting around not really worrying about anything, I am INCREDIBLY happy. Hang in there. It will be okay.

I am sure there are a lot of even more exciting things on the horizon. Don't be sad! I am sure the wedding was a very special day for you. I know mine was, and it was worth all of the stress.

I also really loved my wedding day & wish I could re-live only that one day but i'd never want to go through all of that plannig again for say about another 30 yrs when my kids get married

nope, not even a little bit for me. I was engaged for way too long (almost 3 years), so by the wedding I was just DONE. It's such a relief to be a PERSON again, and not a bride! I can relax and read and get work done and clean my apartment and indulge my desire to cook funky and complicated dinners... I'm even thinking of asking for art or cooking lessons for my birthday in December...

I do regret that my wedding went so fast that I barely got to enjoy the day - but I wouldn't want to have to do it all over again for anything! It was exhausting and stressful, and I'm happier being married and enjoying my husband's company.

I don't miss it one bit! I didn't have very much fun planning my wedding, because we did the whole big thing for DH. I wanted something small and simple and it turned into this huge monster that DH didn't really help with. Since we got home from the honeymoon I have been enjoying alot of stress free evenings! Plus now I have time to focus on being a bridesmaid for my friend. I am much better at that, she tells me what to do, when to do it and how to do it! I like that someone else is making all of the wedding decisions for a change!

Same here! I was not 'happy' that it was over but I was so happy with the outcome of the wedding that I was content to have it come and go...

I truly enjoyed the day so much and went out of my way to make sure that, no matter what, I had the BEST time of my life. I also worked very hard to make it so the day did not go by 'in a flash' and it really didn't. I took time to ENJOY which made a huge difference.

I can understand why you are sad and I feel bad that you are because that's unfortunate-- but I'm sure, like most of the girls have said, that it will get better with time.

I was just lucky enough to not feel that sadness. We planned for a long, long time- maybe that is why? Also, it's nice to HAVE money for a change! Haha!

OMG..I thought that I was the only one that felt that way. I had a nightmare about a week after my wedding that I forgot to make programs for my wedding and the flowers were all messed up!!!
