I'm getting married on Sunday...should I wear stockings even though it's june? I'm getting mixed reviews....help!

Do what makes you comfortable. I'm getting married in August and will definitely wear stockings - if for no other reason that it'll make my shoes so much more comfortable!

I got married in May and didn't wear any stockings, but I don't like them anyway. I was real comfortable and wore open toed shoes.

I personally would not b/c I hate them. I'm in April and I probably wont b/c my dress is going to cover my 'milk' colored legs (I'm Irish)..plus, open toe shoes and no garter removal thing- no one will see. But do whatever makes you comfortable.

I got married in March, and I didn't wear stockings. My legs were just comfortable. I can't imagine wearing stockings in June, but you have to do what makes you comfortable.

I got married in OCtober but it was about 75 degrees on the day of my wedding. I wore thigh highs and I am SO happy I did. They weren't uncomfortable and they kept my legs from sticking together under my dress (it gets hot under there). I can't say enough about the VIctoria's Secret Thigh Highs with the elastic band around the top so they stick to your leg and don't move.
ETA: I HATE full stockings...nothing makes me more uncomfortable. So, I went with the thigh highs

I think it all depends on what you would be comfortable in.
I'm getting married in August and not wearing any stockings because it's hot and I have open-toed shoes.

This is definitely a personal preference thing. I'm not wearing stockings because it's hot in September, and I'm wearing open toe shoes. But, if you're more comfortable in stockings, you should wear them!!

I hate wearing stockings in the summer, it gets me all itchy too. Would you want to wear thigh hi's or something instead of the whole stockings??

im not wearing stockings and i am in january
i refuse to wear them ever!! i think catholic school uniforms scarred me for life, lol.

I threw a pair of stocking in the oven and turned it on in college and never looked back. However the were the old lady style with the tummy tuckers.
I would only consider wearing stocking with garter belts

I got married kast weekend & I wore Spanx instead. I had strappy shoes. Just break your shoes in & you'll be fine.
Also - pantyhouse may cause STATIC under your dress. If you wear them, bring Static Gaurd.
ETA: Older women will tell you to 'a lady wears pantyhose.' But do what makes you comfortable.

Last year I felt the same way as you, I thought it would be WAY too humid in June for stockings. Well a few weeks before I realized it was still kinda chilly, so I picked up a pair of toe-less stockings and I'm so glad I did!!!!! It was sunny on my wedding day but windy, so I ended up wearing them afterall. I always say, better to have and not need than to not have and miss out. Get a pair and see how it is on Sunday, if you end up not needing them you can always use them another time.

I never wear stockings and don't think a wedding is the place to start lol i think i'm aiming for comfort. If you wear them normally and feel comfortable in them, then by all means, go ahead. Also, if its for fitting better into the dress or something along those lines, then i guess its really up to you. don't sweat too much over that

i say no, the dress is heavy and makes you hott...but this is how i feel bc i just hate stockings in general, i am so uncomfortable in them

i got married in june last year...trust me, stockings will only add insult to injury! my dress weighed like 40lbs! there was no way in hell that i was gonna wear stockings too in the blazing 90 degree heat!!!!
