I'm getting married on Sunday...should I wear stockings even though it's june? I'm getting mixed reviews....help!

I'm getting married in the beginning of Sept. and I'm not wearing stocking. ... I'm really not a fan of them anyways...only to keep me warm if needed. :)

Do what makes you comfortable. I'm getting married in August and will definitely wear stockings - if for no other reason that it'll make my shoes so much more comfortable!

I completely agree. My wedding was in July and even though it was a hot day I wore stockings, but that was because I always wear stockings with a dress. I can't stand bare feet in heels. I was actually surprised to see that so many brides don't wear stockings. I think it is totally preference and what is comfortable for you.

hate stockings, hate pantihose. Picture myself trying to hike up those darn slipping legs til crotch is at your knees while wearing a wedding gown! no way, no how. but my poor feet can't tolerate naked shoes. when you get old you get set in your ways. but i'm enough of an open minded 'older' type to say out with the pantihose. luckily or unluckily i have enough boning in my dress not to need/want spanx. bones in the dress, bones in the lining of the dress... anyway you are probably all too young to know about them but my vote is for nylon PEDS!!!!

my wedding was in december and I was SO happy i got thigh highs from macy's (the ones with silicone on the top)....they did not BUGDE...and they were SOOOO much more comfy than regular stockings. good luck! it's gonna be the best day of ur life!

I did not wear stockings! Way too uncomfortable, I had no sticking /rubbing of my thighs...and plus, i was wearing open toe shoes... SO def. no stockings!

I wore thigh high stockings. I wasn't going to wear any stockings, but Joe loves thigh highs and they looked really good with my garter belt. So I would not have worn them if he had not BEGGED. It's up to you, but it gets ungoddly hot under the dress, and full stockings would be very uncomfortable....thigh highs were ok, and I don't regret it, and Joe LOVED his wedding night suprise!!

thanks girls for all your advice.....someone told me that I would feel more 'snug' in my dress and that my shoes (though they're open toe) would feel more comfortable. I guess that put ideas in my head! I'm leaning more towards NOT wearing them! xoxoxxoo Thank you!

I am getting married in July and am NOT wearing stockings. I despise them. If you like them though, I say go for it. You want to be comfortable.

Hello, I need some help. I am getting married on the Nautical Empress and will like to know how everything went, was it magical? bad? I am a little nervous and any help will be greatly appreciated, how's the view, the ride, did anyone get sick, the food, the cocktail hour, the table setup, the staff, the DJ, where was the announcer, can 150 people fit on the second floor, wow so so sorry I am just so nervous I booked with them but it is just so different that I don't want this to go bad, please help.
