My Married name is not so bad. I kinda like it. It is actually the 8th most common last name in the US.... Garcia. Thing is, I am the whitest girl ever and I totally don't latin...but then again FH is Puerto Rican and has blonde hair and blue eyes!!

Your FH must have my mother as his mother...cause she's the same kind of Puerto Rican :)

hahahaha i thought i was the only one who thought like that! im a little upset because his last name starts with an 'F'.. and i hate how script F's look.

Yeah well I love my Italian last name now taking on a newer italian last name Gigante. Its a nice name no problems except I hate G's in script! lol

I'm not going to miss my maiden name at all...it has been getting some REALLY bad press lately....my maiden name is Peterson, like all the frieken killers ............so will be happy to lose that last name, I like FH's last name which is Kiley, but I don't like writing K's in script!

I am going from my italian last name of DeSimone to his very greek last name of Papaspyrou

No one can pronounce it. You have to hear the telemarketers, and when I spell it out to people they always have to say 'and how do you say that'

I love my soon to be new last name. Besides I think the fact that I got teased all through elementry school Im happy to be finally changing it!!! Plus I love the tradition of taking the guy's last name.

I don't mind future hubby's last name... only thing is that it is a first name and we will both have the same name once i take his name! I am Christina and he is Christopher but everyone calls us Chris.. so we will both be Chris *******

My last name right now is Melnic... and everyone is always like Melnic? Are you Slavic? and I'm not and then I have to go through a long story about my nationalities and not knowing where Melnic came from. My name last name will be Dolan and I dont look Irish so I'm sure I'll catch s hit for that too!

Oh, and there are two teachers in my school with the last name Doran - one pronounces it like Dooran, the other like Doraan so we'll be Doran, Doran, and Dolan.
