Marriott in Islandia...

Hello everyone!
I was all set to reserve a block of rooms at the Marriott in Islandia. BUT they tell me the bar will only stay open to 1am. Since the wedding ends at 12am, I was really looking for a bar which would stay open to 2am.
Has anyone used the Marriott? Do you know if they are strick about this? I know sometimes management will tell you one thing and the staff will do another. Honestly, if the bar is crowded, I can't see the bartender wanting to close it down if they don't have to.

The wedding is at Land's End. So if anyone has another hotel suggestion let me know.

I know we looked into booking the Marriott in Melville but it was the same policy and they told us in no uncertain terms would they keep the bar open.

We ended up booking the Huntington Hilton. We got back to the hotel at around 1 am and when DH and I finally went up to bed at 2:45 - the bar was still going strong!
