i'm SOOOOOO excited because it falls on one of Dave's ONLY day's off!!!!

He works every day except Tuesday & Friday...so we usually can't do stuff like this!

Oh no - i didn't tell Dave...he HATES martha stewart - but i think it'll be a nice day in the city - which we both love....maybe we can see the tree if it's still up - make a whole day of it. And if i promise him we can go to a barbeque or brewery restaurant or something for lunch - he'll be fine!

I just called my FH. I asked him if he was sitting down. So I told him. He wasn't too happy but of course he will go to make me happy. He asked me if I could bring a male friend instead and make believe he is my fiance.

We both work in the city so the commute will be easy.

It looks like the '08 ladies are quite lucky.... earlier I read a post where another bride won a free wedding ceremony on top of the Empire State Building.

i just called Dave - he's 100% good with it. As long as it's not Oprah - he doesn't have a problem with Martha, but as i said - HATES Oprah(as i do too). I kept beating around the bush, telling him how much i love him, he's like, uh oh - you're coating this on way too thick.... But then I said Martha and he's like, oh.....okay....that's not bad - i actually think she's kinda funny - not in a comedian way - but still.

He thought i was getting dr. phil or john edwards - i told him he could break off the engagement if it was that way...and i'd understand!

YAY!!!!!! We're going to go to Spanky's barbeque after - so maybe we can all get together for a late lunch or early dinner!
