I know others have gotten away with it but it doesn't mean she (or anyone else for that matter) should! I don't buy the 'she's a woman' thing. Look at the Enron men, the Rigas family (Adelphia), Denis Kowalski, and Sam Waksal. Sam didn't get away with anything and he's a man!

ETA: forget what I said about Sam. He pleaded guilty. sorry!

This restores my faith in the justice system!! Well, that is, if they send her to jail!! To me the evidence was overwhelming.

I agree. I'm so sick of the argument 'Well, other people have done worse things, and they got away with it.' How is that valid? No one should get away with committing crimes.

How can you say that??????? She clearly broke the law and I am so happy that she did not a pass just because she was MARTHA STEWART.

Yes a few..one was a law librarian too which I laughed at since so am I.

I was trying to figure out if I knew her because they said she as from Mt. Vernon NY.

each count gets a max of 5 years & $250k. So if she gets the max, which i doubt she will. 20 years and 1 million $!
