He worked at the king kullen in massapequa park. Fox news just said if anyone thinks they have been in contact with him please see your doctor....so if anyone shops there and remembers being helped by a 17 year old kid..get checked out it is highly contageous!
He also played on the basketball team

More importantly... my brother is a senior at MHS! I hope it's not a close friend of his or anything, I have to call home!
my brother just started student teaching there..

Now there is a guidance counselor at St. Francis Prep in Fresh Meadows that died of it this morning. I just saw it on the news!!

I work with LeeAnne at Prep and she truly was a wonderful person...the picture on the website truly embodies the happy, positive person that she was...please keep LeeAnne, her family and the Prep community in your prayers...I know all of us are taking this extremely hard.

Service will be held Sunday and Monday from 2-5 and 7-9 at Dalton's Funeral Home on Hillside Ave in New Hyde Park. All are welcomed to come and pay their respects. The funeral service will be held Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. at Malverne Bible Church in Malverne.

I went to HS with LeeAnne, she was from Bellerose. I friend just told me what happened, its sooo sad, OMGGGG
I went to Van with her as well...I was doing my laundry this morning when I heard the name and turned to see her picture on the screen...I almost fell over. My prayers are with her family. It's so sad.

OMG i am sitting here hysterical...i never heard the name of the other meningitis victim yesterday...i just pulled up newsday and there was her picture....LeeAnne Burke! I have known her since i was 12 years old, I was bedt friends with her brother all through middle school! She was always so sweet and so kind, i am so upset right now. Please send good thoguhts and prayers to her family...this is so horrible i didnt expect that as soon as i woke up this morning
