Max Bridal Alterations

Does anyone have experience with having alterations done at max bridal? I love this salon and found my dress there but they don't have a cap on their alterations and that makes me nervous.

I haven't been shopping yet but they are definitely on my list of places to go. That would make me nervous, too. Maybe they can give you an average price of alterations. Just wondering if everyone gives the bridal shop the 'true' date of the wedding or moves the date back a few weeks. Some people have suggested not telling them so you have breathing room. Idk, I guess if you order far enough in advance, it shouldn't be a problem. Sounds like you are happy with Max Bridal! Happy for you :)

Max Bridal Alterations

I'm thinking of going to Max Bridal to try on dresses for the first time. I really like the brands they carry. What is the price range of dresses there? I'm just trying to get an idea since I don't want to spend a TON on my dress and don't want to go somewhere where every dress is $3k+

Re: Max Bridal Alterations

I ended up going to Alterations by Gina after purchasing my dress at max bridal. They couldn't give me an idea of the costof alterations so I didnt want to chance it.

I believe their prices are 1k and up. When i went shopping there none of the dresses I looked at were over 3k.

I would def recommend checking out max bridal...the girls that work there are so helpful and friendly. I think they are reasonable. I didn't want to spend more than 2k and they had a big selection in my budget.

Re: Max Bridal Alterations

LOVE Max Bridal! Courtney and Jillian were my consultants and they are wonderful!

I asked about alterations, and she kind of gave me a range up to $500ish, but it really depends on what needs to be done.

My dress doesn't seem to need a lot of alterations (mostly length and a bustle), so I'm going to make an appointment soon.

I also got my BM dresses from Max Bridal, and they were honest that my girls could probably get alterations cheaper elsewhere.

@Eboni - do you mind me asking how much your alterations were at Alterations by Gina?

I don't remember the exact price but it was less than 450. i had the dress taken in, cups added and a bustle done. It would've been more if I needed the dress shortened. My dress was a little pricey to alter because of the fabric. Hope that helps.
