Anyone use the Maximus Salon (I think they have two locations, either location is fine)? I emailed a makeup artist but she never replied, so I think maybe I should try looking at actual salons for hair and makeup.
I had my makeup done at the one in Merrick a few years ago. I don't remember who did it but she did a great job.
I was in a fashion show a few years ago and Maximus in Westbury did our hair and makeup- they did a FAB job!
I've gotten my hair blown out there (Merrick)...the girl did a great job...never had anything else done though...There are a ton of people working there so I am sure your bound to find someone you like!
I used to go to the one in Westbury. I thought they did a good job, but I don't think they were AMAZING.
I see Lisa in Merrick- she's awesome! She's super sweet and she will work with you to make sure you get the look you were going for and it suits you. I'm going there with my whole bridal party...my only experience with the makeup dept is once they made me look like a drag queen for my friend's wedding, so a trial is a must.
