I ordered mine in Feb, they only took about 2-3 wks but I'd recommend ordering them a little earlier so you're not stressed about addressing them. If you're sedning them out to be addressed, you'll need more time too.

I sent my STD cards out about 8 months before the wedding.
I ordered my invitations in January and sent them out in late March for a June 1 wedding. I ordered from Patchogue Florals Fantasyland and they were ready in about a week! They were great over there.
We booked our HM probably about five months ahead of time. I wouldn't wait too long for this because really nice places book up, especially if it's the busy season for wherever you're going. We didn't get a discount for booking early, though.
It rained on my day, and was windy, but I did get a little warm in my dress on the dancefloor. We had two fireplaces going, though, so that didn't help. I wasn't dying of heat! Just a little warm from dancing. Not a big deal. Not wearing stockings was a GREAT decision! I had open toe shoes, though. All in all, my dress was VERY comfortable. Just a little difficult to navigate, especially in the bathroom!
