Re: MAY GIRLS!!!!
This might help a bit. The sun sets pretty late in May (after 6:30PM)
our ceremony is at 3:00pm and will most likely be over by 4:00. We are going to do a few pics at the church and then we are going to a separate location with the BP to take pics before heading over to the RH. We can't be at the RH until around 6:15. I am going to ask the immediate family to be at the RH around 6:30 so we can start taking pictures and get them over with before the CH starts at 7:00. I am going to tell the photog that I would like some sunset shots (if possible) with FH and I only.

Re: MAY GIRLS!!!!
I'm getting married May 21.
Ceremony at 6:30. Cocktails at 7. Reception at 8.
We're taking pics before the ceremony, so for me, I don't really care about the ceremony being in total daylight. I kinda like the idea of doing it at dusk with some candles!

Re: MAY GIRLS!!!!
My ceremony is at 3pm. CH starts at 6. Reception goes until 11. The sunset late in May. So I can take pictures outside for a while.

Re: MAY GIRLS!!!!
go to sunrisesunset.com :)
thats what i based my entire day off of lol my church is at 3 and CH is 7:30 - sun sets @ 8:10 so we will get pulled out for about 5 min at the end of CH (which is about the time we would get pulled out anyway to get ready for our entrance) for a few sunset pics and then we will be done!

Re: MAY GIRLS!!!!
We are having a 6pm ceremony. The best lighting is about an hour before sunset. We asked for input from the photographer, we were torn between 5 and 6 and they said definitely do 6. Our pics are before the ceremony though, so we have lots of light.

Re: MAY GIRLS!!!!
Thank you girls!!! I was sooo worried because I thought my ceremony was too late and being that its a friday with rush hour, i probably wouldnt be able to take pics till 7. But if it sets so late then i stand a chance!
As of right now, my ceremony is at 5-5:30. By the time the we're done taking pics with fam and the recieving line it will be 6:00 ... by the time we get to the hall with traffic, maybe close to 7. that still gives us an hour and a half before CH because its from 8:30-1:30
we dont plan to be a part of the CH so maybe i should push my ceremony back? because what will be do between 7PM and 9:30PM when reception starts?
