where do you guys think is the best place to go in May? I love beaches, blue water etc. on a tight budget though any suggestions?

Aruba, Bermuda, South Beach in Miami are all usually pretty afordable. Also consider a Cruise- they are all inclusive, and visit a few different island. I have heard that the Disney Cruside line is amazing, and the kids are kept away from the couples.
I was also going to suggest Miami...key west (GREAT!), Bermuda (on the same lattitude as N Carolina)
You can get to Hawaii for less money...try www.deltavacations.com we stayed at a 4 star hotel for 9 nights with airfare...about $2500
Sanibel Island and Captiva Island in Florida on the Gulf coast are wonderful places to go to. The water is clear, and you are not far from Ft.Meyers which is the main city. The islands that I am telling you about look like they belong in the Carribean, and they are known for shell collecting. I have been there 2 times and it was well worth it. Good Luck Planning!!!
How about a cruise? Once you pay pretty much everything is paid for. Food and drinks (except liquor). You get beaches and blue water and get to go to more than one island too. Since we're getting married the same day it would be funny if we were on the same cruise line.
