me and fh breaking up

my fh wants me to quit smoking, and i'm trying but it's very hard. i've cut down a lot though. we had a big fight today about it and he said some really hurtfull things to me and told me to leave. i took all my clothes from his house, gave him back my ring and his nextel phone. he said he never wants to see me again. i don't know what to do. he doesn't understand how hard it is to quit cold turkey and i have been trying very hard, but he doesn't care. i know we've been having some problems other than him wanting me to quit, but this was what caused the fight and me to leave.

Maybe you guys should go and talk to someone. You'd rather resolve these issues before you get married.

I hope that he would agree to counseling because if you still want to work it out I think that may be a good way to start.

i just talked to him on the phone and he wants to go talk. i don't know what to do because i am trying hard and he doesn't give me a break.

I am so sorry to hear that, but I think that going to counsling is a great idea, if you guys love each other and want it to work then that is your best bet before you give up.

i do want it to work so bad. i love him so much and i want to spend the rest of my life with him. i'm going to talk to him about going to counseling and see what he says. i know he loves me and he always supports me, when he gets in these moods i can't take it. he never wants to let me talk and he thinks he's always right about everything.

I am sorry!! Good Luck in talking to him and dont let him think hes always right! Quitting smoking can be extreamly hard for some! My mom has tried everythign from the patch to being hypontized and nothing has worked!!
