So, remember I told you girls that I was afraid that I had the beginnings of an ulcer? Well, my primary thinks it isn't that (yet), but he is sending me to a gastroenterologist (sp?).

he has given me prevacid for all the indigestion, and i have an appointment with the other doctor on the 23rd. he seems to think that i have reflux & gastritis....

god willing it's only that!

If you have any questions on the endo feel free to ask, I have asthma and anyplatic shock problems so I was awake and it wasen't bad at all.

Only thing is sleep afterwards, you will feel fine when you leave recovery but a bit later you throat will hurt some and you will just wanna sleep

It may just be stress induced, how is your diet? If it is GERD you could try modifying your diet...

ex. things that aggrevate gerd

citrus (orange, grapefruit etc.)
chocolate
Tomato juice, sauce etc.
smoking
being overweight
eating before bed

not saying you shouldnt do as your docor tells you but this might help you too.
