I actually haven't heard anything good about this place. I had an appointment to check them out cause the price was so cheap and so much was included, but after talking to friends and family they told me to cancel the appointment. Just be carefull when the price seems too good to be true. I know they do two events at once and don't pull it off well at all. Hope this helps. My FH and I booked West Sayville Country Club, great price and they are amazing to work with. Look into the Lessing's locations for good prices.

I went to a wedding there and it was great. The food was excellent compared to other catering halls. The service was great too. I wasn't expecting much (not to sound rude but my friend had really played down her wedding) but the place was really terrific.

My uncle is getting married there in March and his FW hasn't had anything bad to say about it. I know a neighbor of mine was married there and everyone said it was great, but that was almost 10 years ago.

My cousin got married there last summer and I was pleasantly surprised considering the things I read on this site. The food was good and so was the service.

I would check out the place - not just rely on opinions from this site.

Re: Mediterranean Manor

We got married there and it was ABOVE AND BEYOND our wildest dreams!!!!! They were completely amazing!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't say enough about them. They treat you like family! Please FM me with any questions and check out my review if you'd like.

Most people that complain about them have never even stepped foot in there. I had girls FM me asking why I wanted to cheapen my day by going to a hall that was less than $150 per person. And there were others that said because it didn't have beautiful grounds for pictures, they would never even look there. (Funny thing is, one of those girls picked an expensive hall for the beautiful grounds and it rained on her wedding day, so she had to take pics inside. Guess it was worth the extra thousands for the wet lawn. )

that ***** that some people could be so rude! your wedding is what you make of it...not the hall you choose to have it at!

Re: Mediterranean Manor

My brother got married there 2 1/2 years ago. The place was nice but we had issues with the food. I have said before it may have just been an off day. But it took so long for the entire wedding to be served that hald the food was cold and people were done eating when others hadn't even received their dinner yet. Also they didn't have a vegetarian meal choice after they told my sil that they would. Luckily we were served pasta from the CH due to the missing veg meal. But again I say the wedding was beautiful and everything was great except for the food and it may have just been an off day.

I actually checked out this place for my wedding and it was not what I wanted. Im all about the location also and I did not like the fact that there was no windows. I felt like you were closed in. I love windows, also didn't like the whole mirror things, mirrors all over. And in my opinion no where to take pics.

Re: Mediterranean Manor

my friend was married there and loved it. I think it's wonderful to get recommendations off this site but in the end you have to go with your own judgement. I've met with a few vendors that people have raved about and I was not impressed. In the end it's your wedding and your choice.

Re: Mediterranean Manor

We just went there for New Years Eve...and I liked it...it is was fun...the steak was RARE...like mooing..and there weren't any vegetarian dishes...but it was a good time! Also...check out Tall Grass CC in Shoreham...one of the lessings...I think the prices might be even cheaper then Med Manor. Good Luck!!
