Met: In a bar! Well, actually, he had a crush on me in high school, but I didn't know him. We were introduced by a mutual friend at a bar a few years after graduation.
Ring: He proposed with a beautiful round solitaire, but then I wanted sidestones, so he bought me a wrap to go around with two more diamonds on each side. I'm such a baby!
Proposal: Totally lame! In our bedroom in our first apartment together. I laughed at him when he asked me because I just thought it was crazy, hahahaha. But it was SO us to have it that way!
Wedding: 7/3/05 Bourne Mansion
Honeymoon: Mexico
Dress: Anya for Forever Yours

Met: a mutual friend introduced us when I was living in PA and moving back to LI.. we talked online for a few weeks then met in person.
Ring: pic below
Proposal: he took me to a nice restaurant, fidgeted the entire night.. finally the maitre'd came over with a big bowl of strawberries and 2 bowls turned on top of each other.. inside the bowls was the ring.. i was incredibly surprised.
Wedding: Vegas on 05/05/05 and then again at Magestic Gardens on 05/22/05
Honeymoon: Celebrity Cruise - Greece, France, Italy.
Dress: i don't remember the name of it. I bought it in PA and could never find a pic of it online.

Met~ WE have known each other for 8 years, but bumped into each other one night at the same bar.

Proposal~ WONDERFUL! He is such a romantic. We had dinner at our favorite seaside restaurant. Then we took a walk on the beach and then he asked me. It was GREAT!

Finally I got this posted ... took way too long!Me: Kate/Katie, 25 (B-Day 1/22/1979)
He: Keith, 21 ... robing that cradle baby!
Me: I work in the Psych dept. at NYU & and earining a Masters in Social Work
He: Works in Emergency Medical Services as paramedic
Met: Haha, truth - my ex & FI were good friend, we split up & months later FI & I ended up together ...sparks flew...and the rest is history
Ring: Love it! Oval cut center with channel set round diamonds halfway around the platinum band.
Proposal: In an elevator - yup I wanted different and canceled on all his other scenarios (romantic rest - i was sick, picnic in central park - got stuck at work late...) and he actually pulled out all the romantic stops when he surprised me with the rind a short while later in a Central Park carriage ride after brunch at Tavern on the Green
Wedding: NYC/Sept 2005
Honeymoon: looks like it's gonna be Hawaii!
Dress: Still searching...but if anyone hits the lotto & wants to buy me the $5500 dress I love just FM
