Tonight FH and I will be formally celebrating our engagement with our parents. FH picked a German restaurant to go to. I am nervous; I hope our parents hit it off.

Thank you for the good thoughts. Everything went well. Alleluia! The parents talked a lot during dinner. I think the mothers had more to talk about. My father loves to talk sports, but FH's father does not. Atleast they were able to talk about their love for going upstate. After dinner, we went to FH parents' house for coffee and cake. Our parents talked about meeting together upstate this weekend.
