My boss (nicest guy on earth) said he wants to meet with me today before I leave. These things, no matter how good of a job a person does, ALWAYS makes people feel nervous-- and I'm definitely one of those people!!
So I don't know if this is a good thing or a bad thing-- I mean, he could be telling me that he is giving me a raise but then again he could be telling me I'm getting laid off... I say laid off b/c I don't think he would fire me (ever) because I do an excellent job, I'm always on top of everything and I go above and beyond what my job title and duties are....
That being said, I'm still nervous- can someone give me a hug or reassure me?? He should be calling me in any minute now... I'll update after!!

He gave me a raise!!!! And then he told me that I might be able to start working more hours soon (A few weeks ago I told him that if he had any extra I would gladly work them b/c I need as much money as I can get for the wedding). So he said that coming up he should be able to give me more... He then said that I answer the phones 'fabulously' and that he is very happy with all of that...
He told me that if I was not getting medical benefits he would be able to pay me a lot more but the medical (he pays 100% of my medical BTW-- crazy!! He is such a nice man) but without that I would be getting more... So in just 10 months I will be able to go under Vinny's medical and then I will get paid even more!
Oh thank God, what a heart attack that was...

he's like my dad
he buys us lunch or breakfast literally like almost EVERY day! today i had lobster bisque with spinach and artichoke salad from a really nice restaurant near us. daily when i come in there are bagels and muffins (not good for the diet but so nice of him to do)... he is seriously the most giving person EVER...
he pays 100% of everyone's medical. he is so fair and easy going. he is the best to be around all the time-- he is funny and kind.
we do architectural woodworking for high end retail stores like ferragamo, oscar de la renta, ralph lauren (probably our biggest client), rolex, tiffanys, etc etc....
we also do homes like howard stern and the baldwin residence (clients of ours).
it's interesting, fun and a very easy going and laid back environment-- everyone jokes, there is no drama and we all really like one another.
