Tomorrow I have my first floral appointment - I am excited, but nervous. So many choices! I just want to make sure I make the right decision.
Any suggestions? Do I need to bring anything with me? Do you usually meet once and then sign a contract, or go back and they show you a sample before signing?
I signed with the florist and they showed me a sample of flowers they would use for the centerpiece.
However, I'm paying a set price for my bouquet and for the centerpiece (at my florist all low centerpieces or high centerpieces are the same price no matter what flowers you use)..So I can change my mind.
I think 2 months before the wedding, they will actually create a centerpiece and bouquet in front of me. I think once I approve it, that's what they will use at the wedding.

what florist did you use?
I'm using Pedestals. Vito created a sample bouquet of the flowers he thought would look nice as a centerpiece. I had no idea what flowers I wanted.. I only told him my colors and he came up with a really nice idea.
I guess 2 months before the wedding they will actually create a centerpiece for me.

Re: Meeting with Florist
I signed with the florist and we are actually going back soon to see the sample. My suggestion would be figure out an idea of what you want. It will make it easier for them to help you make the perfect floral designs. I went with an idea that I wanted orange flowers on the tables. we went a little softer on the girls bo-K's. Hope this helps!
