Has anyone been to the Melia Caribe? We are looking into it for our 1 year anniversary. We went to the Paradisus (same company) in Mexico and LOVED it.
I've been. The grounds were gorgeous, the beaches beautiful. I had a big issue with the food there though. Not very good at all. At the best restaurant there, you had to make a reservation really far in advance, and it was tough to get one. It's all-inclusive and very convenient, you never have to take your wallet out.

We stayed in a normal suite near the pool. About a 5 minute walk to the beach.
I stayed in the villas # 15 right by the pool onthe Caribe side....
