Memorial Candle Question

Hey ladies. I just lost both my grandpa and my nana within the last five weeks. I want to do memorial candles with their names to honor them at the wedding but i have a question.

My other grandma passed away 12 years ago and I was very close with her so i was going to put her name with grandpas on the one candle.

However, nana's husband (my grandpa on dad's side) died when my dad was 11 and obviously I never knew him. Do you think I should include his name on nana's candle too or no because I never met him?

I think my dad would like to see it - but my mom says I never met him and the others I was so close with. What do you ladies think? TIA.

I think in that case you should put him on but I have a similar situation for our memorial candle.

We are having a floating memorial candle engraved with 'In Loving Memory' and then in a collage standing photo frame next to it I am putting pics of my family members who I knew in my life that have died (my grandpa, my uncle, my aunt, and my great-grandma). FH doesn't have anyone close in his family in his lifetime that has passed away. I had one extra opening in the frame and I was contemplating putting my other great-grandma in but I never really knew her so my mother told me to leave it out and maybe just put a nice saying in that slot - so that's what I am doing.

And where do these candles usually get placed?
