What's the going rate for a man's wedding band? We're trying to figure out how much to budget. He just wants some type of metal...no diamonds or anything. thanks!

FH's ring cost a lot more than we expected... it's platinum and pretty heavy - it was $2K...

FH got his 14K white gold band for $150. It's plain with milgrain on the sides.

Fh just ordered his the other day. White gold with beading/miligrain down the center. It cost us under $200.

DH's brushed platinum ring cost us about $500, most other metals are cheaper usually.

Dh just got a plain yellow gold band for under $200. He's not used to wearing rings but I had really wanted to get him something w/ diamonds. . .

DH's ring is titanium, with little design and it was about $150

His is going to cost us between $150-$200. I was told by many jewlery stores that get a man platinum is not necessary because they are usually SO rough with their hands!
