What's the going rate for a man's wedding band? We're trying to figure out how much to budget. He just wants some type of metal...no diamonds or anything. thanks!

FH's is tungsten, and it was $199 from zales...it's what he wanted.

My husband wanted a simple white gold band, no designs, etc. Just an engraving on the inside with our wedding initials and wedding date.

He got a white gold 2/3mm band at Kay's for around $80-90.

Platinum is a bit more, but DH didn't like the way it felt on his finger.

FH got his 14K white gold band for $150. It's plain with milgrain on the sides.

ditto, visit weddingrings.com (or something like that) no more than $200 is our budget

His is going to cost us between $150-$200. I was told by many jewlery stores that get a man platinum is not necessary because they are usually SO rough with their hands!

Just curious, then why wouldnt you go with Plat? Plat is a stronger metal then gold. Titanium is the strongest (I think)

We got FH one14K White gold. It's brushed satin in middle with shiney on topand bottom * hope I described it right* FH doesnt like anything too much. It's nice and simple and we got it at the Flea Market for $300.

We bought ours together, so I don't remember how much of the total was his ring. His is HUGE (like a size 14 or something, and 5-7mm wide), white gold, mine is 3mm plain platinum. Together they were $900.
