call me crazy but when I have a kid I want to look like a normal person...id rather focus on my kid than worry about looking hot..I'll be the mom in sweats and loving it!

I think a woman is beautiful no matter what she looks like. A woman with child is the most beautful. As for the focus on the child. Obviously if your a good parent that is a given! Its ok to care about yourself & focus on your child (children). thats normal too.

But i think she not only means how sh elooks physically but her sense of fashion & everything its hott!

I agree she is so stunning and I also think you do not have to let yourself go, just bc you have babies..or a miserable job, like I have done. I am back on track in turning my life around and getting back to my old self. I feel 100 times better already....

No claws. Of couse taking care of the baby is #1!
Maybe I'm too sensitive about this issue...but most of the women I work with lost all their sense of self after having a baby.
I just don't like to see that. I'm sure there is a balance of taking care of the baby and taking care of yourself.... its sooo important to take care of yourself.... what would happen if you didn't and you got sick (God forbid!)?
You need to be happy so you can make your child and family life happy as well.

Knowing me..... buying a fabby bag or strutting around in a gorgeous pair of heels makes me happy. Simple... but me!
So I intend to do just that.

Sounds like a plan...for me it will be working out and being healthy...we all have different things that make us happy and of course you have to be happy in order to be a good mommy!

i think that everyone will be different when they have kids---i think that if you work or if you are a stay at home mom that can contribute to how good you look when you have kiddies...i can personally say that i will not be looking that great on a day to day basis bc i will be a stay at home mommy and have no need to look great...but if you work then you will be dressed and looking all nice for those pta meetings...just dont laugh at me when i have spit up on my shirt!
