menu cards at RH

Ah, the RH gestapo. Me and Gail know them well...

Sorry to be blunt...but you're shiz out of luck. I highly doubt they're even going to let me bring in my table names.

You should tell them that you are making your own... you're paying all that money...so if there is something you don't like then you should be able to do what you like to make it right....even something as simple as menu cards. Our RH supplies them, but FH didn't like the paper they were on, so he is making ours... Our RH had no issue with that..



Be firm to get what you want..

Did you ask them why when they said you're not allowed, or was the answer the all powerful because we said so?

I'm seriously really starting to get pissed off with this horse shiz.

Ummmm??? No one ever told me this when I booked Villas.....I was planning on making them myself?!?

When did you all find out about this? I think it's time to put in a call to Cindy. And I agree with you all, I am paying a rediculous amount of money to use their facility I should be able to do whatever I want.

Ooooh...CIndy isn't there anymore. She was my BM too. She never said we weren't allowed either, in fact, she mentioned that 3 days prior is usually when the girls bring in all their things!

It very well could be hearsay...a few girls have posted the same thing though, so that's why we're thinking it's legit. I think I'm going to call later this week and find out for myself.

Cindy isn't there anymore?!?! Nice of her or Villas to call me and tell me. It's not like I'm getting married in 5 MONTHS from today. I hope that you got a call at least. Wait till FH finds out about this....

Haha I actually didn't. Funny story. I called to make an appointment with her in November to drop off my second deposit. They said we can come in on a Sunday because she's there then.

We show up and say we have appointment with Cindy. Some other woman comes down and we're like can we help you? She says to come with her...finally I ask her whats up, and she tells me that CIndy wasn't there any more, so I'm like really? Because they let me make the appointment with her, and even went as far to tell me that I couldn't come on Friday because she was all booked!

In all fairness, she did seem embarrassed that they did that and didn't tell me. It was just very bizarre.

OMG funny story! Maybe I'll just have to call and make an appt with her and see what they say...this should be good. Is this Gail lady any good?

P.S. just left an interesting message on FH's phone about this...lol

The new BM is actually named Trish...I don't know if you'll be assigned the same woman though. I liked her, she was very accommodating to us when we were there and actually arranged a tasting for us which is not their normal policy, but then when I asked them about setting up my non-floral CPs for me she was very by the book, so I guess it's just hit or miss with all their flipping rules.

I just booked with them last month and I definilty was not told about this. I'll be so mad if they try and tell me that.Its not in the contract so I dont see how they can tell you that you cant bring in menu cards.
