Menu for E-party - Help!!!

I am getting ready to place a catering order for my e-party (we are having it at my parents house - italian buffet style). I am expecting probably about 40-50 people.

So my question to you is...as a guest...do you think a variety of 2 pasta dishes, 1 veggie dish, 1 meat dish, salad, and a huge italian hero is enough? Or do I need more of a variety?

I don't want to end up with a massive amount of food afterwards (but somehow I always do!)

I think your menu sounds PERFECT!

We are having our e-party on july 11, we are expecting about 70 -80ppl.

We are also having an Italian Buffet Style. Here is what we ordered:

Large Trays:
Penne Alla Vodka
Gnocci
Eggplant Parmigiana
Baked Stuffed Shells
Tossed Salad
Bowtie Broccoli and Zucchini
Chicken Parmigiana
Chicken Francaise

Then I think my family is making some smaller dishes, and special food items for the kids (i.e. chicken nuggets, hot dogs).

I don't know if this will be too much..but we enjoy leftovers A LOT.
