Re: Menus?
I'm of two minds on this. On the one hand, I've heard that RHs can change little things about the menu (vegetables, salad, etc.) according to what's fresh at the market that week, and I wouldn't want to write stuff on the menu that's not actually being offered. Although, maybe that pertains more to smaller places like I'm having (a country inn). On the other hand, with the music playing, and people talking and laughing, sometimes it's hard to hear the waiter describe the options at a wedding, and it's nice to be able to choose before he gets there.
So... sorry I don't have some answer, but there's some food for thought.

Re: Menus?
I know that my RH makes up menus using our names on them...Im just not sure if I love them as much as what I can create on my own.
I agree that it may be hard to hear the waiter/ress if there arent any menus thoughh.

Re: Menus?
thanks dava that is exactly why i dont know - not that i have to know today - my main concern is having the paper that i put it on match everything else including the invites -

Re: Menus?
im going to add them as one of my DIYs type them up and just print them on cardstock.
i spoke to my BM about it, and was told that i will know of any little changes (like Dava mentioned)two days before...
so i am going to type them up and then if there are changes make them before printing.

Re: Menus?
It's a DIY project. It's not a mandatory one but it can get done.

Re: Menus?
My rh puts five menus on the table butt i wanted to make my own because i dont like the idea that people have to pass around a menu if there are ten or twelve people at a table what do five menus do???

Re: Menus?
I do want menus...RH provides them but I think i would rather get different menu's
keep it simple.. get a solid color for the background.. then a nice silver ribbon or something with snowflakes.
just an idea..

Re: Menus?
im providing menus on the day of... i feel bad for the servers who have to keep reapeating themselvs for every guest so it will just save alot of time if the guests already know what they want
