I will definitely be making menus. As a guest I have gone to ones where I had to listen to the server go through and tell each meal, and i feel bad asking for descriptions, because I know how many times he/she will have to say it.
As a server, I have done both catering and am a waitress and hate when I have to repeat myself 25 times. I know when I serve a table of 10 and I have to tell each person all the sides all the salad dressings and answer each questions it gets tedious. So as a server i am thankful everytime I have waited on a party and did not have to go through all the selections and describe each plate because there was a menu down. I just feel it speeds up the process, which means the quicker the order is in the kitchen the quicker its on the table

It's a DIY project. It's not a mandatory one but it can get done.
Ditto, my hall has 7 choices, I want to give them time to decide.

Re: Menus?
i think its a nice touch and its not a super hard diy project! if you dont want to have one at every place setting you can do menus for the table or every other seat...stuff like that...

Re: Menus?
My RH provides menus for every guest, but if they didn't, I would definitely make them myself.

Re: Menus?
this is something I really want to do but I don't want to spend the money to have someone else do it and I don't know if I'll have the time to considering all the other things I'll have to do for the wedding! If I do end up doing it, it definitely will not be one per place setting, it'll be 2 or 3 to a table, depending on the table size.
