as a former Catering Hall waitress, i will definitely do them!! It was always so hard to scream the choices and repeat them a million times... yes it was my job and i didnt mind doing it, but guests always seemed much happier when they had menus... and it made it so much easier on the waitstaff, and the process went that much faster!

One girl wrote in her post wedding review that she had printed menus and then the hall made a mistake and offered the wrong items at the wrong times, and even offered an additional main course that was not on the menu. Only the bride and groom would have known these things, but because she had made a menu, the guests realized it also.
I'm doing many other things and I will do a menu only if there is a lot of time--because I do think it makes the ordering go much faster.

yes - with a printing co. by my house for cheaper than the hall..
