hey everyone I was looking at the Royal Hideaway for my HM. It is so BEAUTIFUL! My only concern is the giant sand bags that are along the beach to stop the erosion. I read somewhere that they were being removed in March and that the beach would be fixed. Does anyone know if this is true?

I read about this on tripadvisor when I was checking this place out. It doesn't seem to be a big deal, but why not go and see the reviews.

I'm HMing there in May. I didn't let the sand bag thing stop us from booking. The resort is amazing and we tend to spend more time at the pool and going on excursions anway. I did hear that they are supposed to have the beach repaired by the end of this month.

I was at the Royal Hideaway a couple of years ago, It was amazing, beautiful, the food and the service were A+++++++++. I don't know anything about sand bags, but this is a perfect, perfect, amazing, wonderful, beautiful place. Good Luck....Robyn

Book RH, it is the best, i sent you FM. It is by far the nicest hotel ever, nicer than the rits carlton in st thomas!!!
