Mia is great. She is very sweet and eay-going. I had a great experience with her during my trial. My mom also called her just to confirm that she would be doing my hair and makeup for me and she said 'of course, she is my j.Lo bride'

Re: Mia from BL
i used mia as well but and for me thought she did an amazing job BUT in my opinion you are not going to want someone to leave and then come back......things can be too hectic that day and i just don't see that as a great idea no matter how good she might be......

Re: Mia from BL
I used Mia for my wedding and couldn't be happier. She came from 7:30 AM and didn't stop until 3:30 when I left. She wouldn't even stop to eat..and I had to beg her to do so! In MY OPINION....(knowing how I had my own 'bridezilla' moments) you can't please everyone. There is always going to be someone who isn't happy with something or someone. If you really like her work, talk about your concerns when you meet with her. See if you can come up with a solution that you feel comfortable with and make your decision after. I really don't think you'll be disappointed with her at all. I felt like a million bucks that day because of her. p.s. never once did she ask me to post anything.

'08er Crashing'
I might have to start posting on this board. I have seen Mia twice, once for my original trial and I saw her yesterday to try out a new color on my eyes. She is absolutely a doll. Very Professional and very comfortable to work with. I believe a '07' bride posted a negative feedback about her trial and it steam rolled into Mia's personal life etc. Alot of the '08' board doesn't like her right now. My experience with her was great and if I listened to every bride that had something bad to say about a vendor, I wouldn't have any vendors. You'll make your own decision based upon how you feel about Mia.
Good Luck

Very well stated!!!
There's no excuse for anyone to bash a vendor, and dipping into their personal life?
One has nothing to do with the other, and is completely rude to do so.
There will be positives you hear about vendors, and negatives. It's all personal experience, and it's important to form your own opinion about it.
That being said, a lot of the '06 brides (including myself) used Mia and she is fantastic! Her work speaks for itself. If she is making a suggestion as to the timing, she is the professional, and if she says she can do it, she will.
She is well aware of how long it takes her to complete her services. While she's not superwoman, she does take location, travel time, etc. into consideration when booking weddings like this.
I understand the OPs concern, and it is truly valid. However, base your decision on how you feel after speaking with her in detail and voicing your concerns, rather than by going on a bride who hasn't had their wedding yet and on a personal vendetta for whatever reason.
