.Ok so I am very disappointed. M ia. herself is not available for my day (which I figured.) But when I called the business manager said I could use the gift certificate for a different member of her team.
Well as our conversations go on, (after I called back because she never returned the call/email like she was supposed to..) they tell me that the gift certificate was not good for the wedding day but for any other day of makeup () I explain (not in a nice tone lol) that this was very misleading and Im not happy with that. She puts me on hold and comes back to tell me that I can't use it anyway because it was only good for M ia herself, not for somebody who works on her team. So now, this prize that I won for our wedding day is useless to me. They also kept asking how many bridesmaids, if i needed hair too...i just kept saying 'Nope, just my makeup.' I really felt like since I was a free application and had nobody else coming to them that they didnt want to deal with me. I wrote them back and told them that i was not interested in being another check for their pockets and would not use them. I just thought it was terrible business. So they cotnacted me again (through colleen ) and said I can use the application for a different day. SO I am going to hold onto it but there is a big chance that I will be giving it to the first person who FMs me one day in the near future!
Ladies, just be careful, i get a bad vibe from that place...i know some of you are using her and thats great, just make sure you are getting what you originally thought you were...

yeah i wanted to use her originally but her prices were way up out of my price range so i just forgot about it...then i won and was psyched! oh well!
That really stinks Lauren!! Yeah, I won the hair gift certificate. I emailed her Sunday after the shower and got a response that night asking to fill out some questionnaire...so I did that and sent it right back. I am still waiting to find out if she is available. I guess I am going to have to call tomorrow

Honestly, im with you on this i would hav etold them that if it doesnt clearly state that on the certificate then they should honor it! If tehy still said no i would have definitely let them know that i would not be using them & letthem know i would let all of my friends know this as well. I told them that I would return my gift certificate to the LIW person in charge of the event and would alert all of the other women on the website that unless they need multiple services or have a huge money making bridal party they need not contact M ia! Im not nice when it comes to bad customer service!

NOT cool!!!! I was considering using them, but now I am not so sure. Just because you 'won' their services, they treat you like crap? Well, then why offer free services at all??? I agree, not goood business, AT ALLLLLLLL
