Michael's Restaurant and catering positives/negatives?

Has anyone ever been to Michael's restaurant and catering in West Sayville? Any feedback on your experiences is greatly appreciated . . . We are looking into having our engagement party there- thanks all!

I just had my E-party on March 23rd. It was AWESOME I am telling you, go for it. Michael is the chef and owner. It is family owned and they are so very NICE... also he works with the price. We did the buffet over sit down dinner, because you get so much more that way. They included 6 different wines, 2 choice of beer, and soda. The food is out of this world, so was the cake...yummy We went with the Strawberry Shortcake. Michael is a pastry chef as well, so he does all his own baking in the kitchen there... the rolls and cake were just so fresh. Everyone to this day is still talking about it. I just loved the whole Victorian feeling and the colors in the room. Any more questions, please feel free to FM me. I had a great experience for sure

I went to a wedding there about 5 years ago and it was nice. it was a bit small for the number of people that were there but only for the cocktail hour. I dont remember too much more about the place. GOOD LUCK
