Michael Jackson Dies

Michael JacksonWe've just learned Michael Jackson has died. He was 50.

Michael suffered a cardiac arrest earlier this afternoon and paramedics were unable to revive him.

Michael is survived by three children: Michael Joseph Jackson, Jr., Paris Michael Katherine Jackson and Prince 'Blanket' Michael Jackson II.

Jackson had 13 number one hits during his solo career.

OMG PEOPLE WHAT THE H*LLLLLLL. I'm sooo sad right now, it's true he really died I'm soo friggen devastated he was a legend!! I can't even believe this.

I cant believe how upset I am about this.
I grew up with the Jackson 5 and my club years with Michael's Beat It, Billie Jean, & Thriller. Didnt realize just how much a part of my life his music is

It's not insensitive... I don't agree with a lot of Michael Jackson: The Later Years... but his music shaped me... and at one time he was INCREDIBLY talented.He was like the Beatles of my generation.

I agree, not just him but I may be insenstive but I do not understand when people become hysterical, I am not saying anyone on this thread, about people they do not 'know'..This is JMO

I also agree that I liked MJ from the years past

Its a shame to say but actually the Michael Jackson i loved died along time ago before he got weird

Indeed. It's the loss of a true talent, someone who is gifted through-and-through.
The last 15 years though...that turned a LOT of people off from him, myself included..

When I was leaving work today, my coworker said that he had had a heart attack, and I was not shocked. Then, when I got in my car I heard on KTU that he died and I totally got chills. In fact everytime I see 'Michael Jackson dead at 50', I get the chills. So, so sad. I had to turn off the news because it is so upsetting.
I feel like part of my childhood has died, I am 41, and MJ was a huge part of my growing up in the 80's, in fact my cousin and I saw him in concert in 1983, I remember we made my uncle bring us to Ticketron at like 4:00 in the morning to wait on line. My cousin was in love with MJ!!
Over the years, he has gotten really wierd, and he has put himself in alot of questionable situations that made me not like him so much, but there is no denying he was one of the worlds best entertainers.
It is such a terrible tragedy, he truly was a tortured soul and I pray that he rests in peace. So sad...

I absolutely loved Michael Jackson growing up, this is soo sad, the world has lost a legend

I know that he became a freak, but he did create great music well before that

I feel the MJ I loved died a long time ago....

Regardless of how he turned out personally, his music was some of the most influental music of all time - he has left such a mark on the pop music world, and it is a great loss.

If anyone's interested, MTV is playing a montage of his videos. I can't watch the circus that is CNN right now, it's all just speculation and crap.
