michele, cindy, sonic question

Just because I am curious....how are you girls all friends? And I think Claud too? Did you guys just get together from the boards? I have obviously noticed the relationships from the posts - and I think it's amazing that you are all so close!

Here is the run down. Correct me if Im wrong girls.

Claud and Michele are friends way before getting engaged. I think they met at work. I met Claud at Micheles bridal shower a few weeks ago.

Cindy and Michele are friends from this board. Ive met Cindy at one of the Long Island Bride get togethers and we have chatted online once but we aren't really friends so to speak.

Michele and I started chatting sometime last year because we both have the same photographer (mark kauffman). Not really sure how it happened but we started emailing each other all the time about wedding stuff, then we met for dinner once and now we meet and talk all the time. Thank God for Michele because without her, my friends would probably murder me for talking wedding so much. Michele has been a godsend since we are both obsessed about the same things at pretty much the same time. (Micheles wedding is 1 month after mine).

So Michele is really the social butterfly here :D

I am good friends with Michele. We did meet through the board after finding out that we were getting married at the same church. We realized we had precana at the same time and met at the precana mass and have been good friends ever since. She has been so supportive to me through me planning. We will always be friends. I met some sonderful people through the planning!

Stef, you are correct...Michele and I met about 4 and 1/2 years ago when we were both working for the same company. We sat right next to each other at work, and very soon we started lunching together, working out at the gym together, sharing war stories together, etc.
We have been through ALOT together, and she is a very special friend.

Claud is my friend from many years ago. She shares my obsession with shoes so on days when we didn't work out during lunch, we went shoe shopping. I did a reading at her wedding, and she is doing one for me. I am also 'stealing' her table naming idea. When she moved to CA for love I used to visit every few months since I traveled for business often. Now her husband is also my friend, and her baby is my little sweetie!
Claud is the kind of friend every girl is lucky to have!

Stef and I met on the boards and we started to chat about vendors. Then we started to chat about non-wedding stuff. Now we e-mail ALL day long at work. Stef is my graphics designer, wedding support person and helps to keep my plans on track. She is also my Martha Stewart and gives me lots of ideas to steal. I am very lucky to have made such a good friend!

Cindy and I met on this board when I posted about our parish priest being featured in Newsday. Since then we have met many times, talk often and help one other with wedding and non-wedding related things. Cindy lives 3 minutes from my house too. Again, I am lucky to have made such a good friend.

Honestly, I am the one who is lucky to have such good friends. They are always there to help me and give me support.
