i'm going for the first time to have this done on friday. i've never had acne all my life (except in 8th grade i had a really bad time with pimples on the forehead), but suddenly i'm getting a TON of pimples on the right cheek in the last nine months. i have no idea what to do or what is causing it, but they won't go away. i have a dermatologist appt friday morning and a micro derm facial at red door in woodbury on friday afternoon.
any advice? i'm kinda nervous...and excited

i use this soap from greece it's for the skin and i've never ever had a pimple or breakout
it's called EUBOS (evos) so if u have anyone coming in from the mother country INVEST lol it's so worth it.
it's the blue bottle. the red bottle is for major acne/blemishes
i brought it back from my GF and she can't thank me enough
:)
Really ??? My FH's cousin recommended a soap only found in Greece for pimps, I wonder if this is it, I forgot the store name. I couldnt find the store when I went over there
any farmakio sells it. I've been using it since i was 16 and my little sister who's 18 - has NEVER had any pimples. lol so it's seriously awesome
i call it blue liquid gold lmao! (cause it's blue lol and i bought the Hugh bottle that lasts me long) my mom is there i can have her bring one back? LOL

I googled it, I will see if I can order it online. Do I need both the soap and the blue liquid? What is the red bottle all about???

Re: microdermabrasion
The pimples could be due to stress and hormones and definitely changing your sheets and towels more often helps.
At this time stage, the acne we get is from stress and hormones so it's a pain.
I get microderm done all the time (at least once a month) and it does wonders. Before my wedding I was getting it done every other week for 3 months--people noticed the difference! It buffs away the dead skin cells and exposes the newer, healthier ones..it also lightens dark spots and blemishes. Just be careful though not to tan too much because it may cause discoloration.

Hahaha...I was actually a bit tan for my wedding...the only thing with microderm is that since it gets rid of the top layer, you lose your tan pretty quickly.

I WOULDnt mind just having to go tan again as long as it doesnt cause any damage...first i have to see if she'll even recommend the microdermabrasion for me, im guessing she will though

I'm sure tanning will be fine...Microderm will smooth out your skin, so you'll probably get a more even, smoother tan.
Seriously...after you get it done you won't stop touching your face it feels so smooth!

Re: microdermabrasion
My FMIL is a microdermabarsionist at the Woodbury Red Door Salon. I know she isn't the only one. But if you have her she is soo sweet. She is Romanian so you will recognize who I am talking about by her accent. I have never went to her before because I am scared. But my FH always had her do it to his face at home and stuff and he loves it.
Let me know how it is because she always tells me to come in but I am nervous!!

ooh fun. I love stuff like that. Is microderm only usually used for acne? Does it get rid of other stuff too (like crows feet, broken capillaries, redness, dark circles). lol I could go on - I think i have everything except acne

WAIT youre doing a chemical peel tomorrow? uhmmm the regular chemical peel or something less strong? bc you do know with chemical peel your face turns BRIGHT red bc you shed the top layer of skin and it looks all scabbed and sore, my aunt used to always do this...my mom did a more mild version so she was just a bit red...to better let you know how you'll look, do you remember the satc episode where samantha shows up at kerrys party with her face covered and when ppl saw her they got scared.

Re: microdermabrasion
MPAS i really suggest you get a glycolic peel or something like that, dont get the other types of chemical peels, i mean if you can take off of work and stay home for about a week then fine but otherwise youre not going to want to leave your house

I agree.
Chemical peels can be strong and can leave you really red. You might not want to go out after or go back to work if you are doing it in the middle of the day.
