Ours is on the counter now but when we redo the kitchen next year I am putting it over the stove. I like the way it looks.

I have had it both ways in my house and we love having it above the stove. You are able to have more counter space which is always a good thing int he kitchen.

There will not really be any room for a microwave cart, so I decided the other day that it would be put abovethe stove. Thanks for the advise.
