Milleridge Brides..

Now that there are other milleridge brides on here (yay!), did any of you try the cake yet? I heard mixed reviews and I am nervous about using them for our wedding cake because I heard that you don't get a cake tasting beforehand. I plan on going to the showcase in October to hopefully get to try some. Also, only a 3 tier cake is included through the bakery- We are having like 200 people so I wonder if they allow you to add a 4th tier or if you have to pay extra =/

Milleridge Brides..

My sis got married there (7 years ago - I can barelyy remember it!) and she said the cake was so good. We were just talking about it over the weekend.

Are you doing the Silver Menu (3 tiers) or the Gold Menu? Gold Menu is 4 Tiers. If you're doing the silver .. I'm sure they will charge for the extra tier :/ Cake places nickel and dime for every little thing lol. I like the way 4 tier looks!!

Milleridge Brides..

We did the silver menu and added in the champagne and strawberries upon arrival, italian pastries on the tables (instead of the vienesse, I didn't want everyone to be leaving during dancing to go into the other room for dessert lol), an extra extree option (so we have chicken, beef, fish, duck, and a vegetarian option) and we did a modified seafood bar with jumbo shrimp and clams all for like $6 extra per person lol... So ours is only the 3 tiers =/

PS did u notice the updated their website (FINALLY!)

the silver totally changed too! i wonder if we will be getting the new menu or old? On the menu that we booked with, we had 1 carving station and 4 chafing dishes. The new one says we get a choice of 2 carving and 5 chafing dishes and all of the food options are different (there's a ton more food options). I hope we are subject to this new menu on the website and not the old!

Milleridge Brides.. - Long Island Weddings

I had emailed Jen about upgrading to a 4 tier cake from the 3 tier that's included the other day... this was before I realized the 4 tier change lol but she e-mailed me back saying it is still a 3 tier included and the milleridge made a few mistakes when they put the menus up online. So I have a feeling we are still getting all of the original options =/ ... It's still a ton of food though, but it would've been nice to have a 4 tier cake, 2 carving stations and 5 chafing dishes lol.. I'm going to see how much it costs to upgrade to a 4 tier though, and I'm not going to mention the extra carving station or chafing option because I figured if nobody says anything they might not notice :)
