Minature GreyHounds

Can anyone show me pics of one, I saw one today and absolutely fell in love with it. At least, that is what I thought it was. It looked very skinny and anorexic.

I think they're called Italian Greyhounds ---- from my experience, they are very skiddish. My neighbor bred them until about 3 yrs ago, and my best friend's parents own one, so I'm pretty exposed.

My best friend's parents dog is no longer allowed around her neices and nephews - the dog flips out whenever children are around.

I'm sure each dog is different, and I'm sure many people have and love their italian greyhounds, but they need attention, and lots of it.

i used to know someone who rescued them (yes, mini ones, not larger ones) and maybe b/c they were rescue dogs, they were very skiddish...they are cute but she had like 5 at a time and it was exhausting just to enter the house.

Italian Greyhounds is the real name of the breed.. DH wants one. I just saw one tonight. They prance when they walk. What is it yu need to know about them? i am semi familiar with the breed.. Matron has one though you should ask her

Their skin is very thin, so they require protection from heat and cold. The thin skin also means that they can get hurt easily, which can be dangerous. They also are prone to tooth problems (most dogs with really long nose/mouth are).

They are very hyper, but fun loving.
