I know people have mentioned that not all post offices hand cancel the invites. Just wanted to let everyone know, in case you're looking for a Post Office that hand cancels, that the Mineola Post office does hand canceling. I work right over by it, so I brought my invites there this morning. I was standing there with a big box of invites, and the lady immediately said she'd take them to be hand canceled, before I even said anything!

Please also be aware girls that some post offices will try to charge you extra for Hand Cancelling.
Brookhaven Post Office did this to my mom the other day. I called up and told the lady off!

Jericho PO offered to do them for me without even having to ask. I brought them in and the guy was like 'are these ready to be hand canceled?'
Nice and easy and it was free. So if anyone is looking for another PO you should definitely go there too

Bayside PO as well. I went in on Sat with the box of invitations and asked if I could hand cancel them and was told that they aren't 'allowed' to give customers the stamp, but he would hand cancel them himself. I made him PROMISE he actually would. hahaha.
