Mineral makeup review...

Mineral makeup review...

ooh! I forgot to tell you ladies! I went to a 'girls night out' thing in Boston last week. For $30 you drink all night long for free (martinis, beer, wine, etc), and you can get a free makeover, hair up-do, and there are tons of vendors around selling jewelry, etc.

Anyhoo....I got my makeup done (not well....she spent like 5 minutes on me) but she used mineral makeup powder, blush and eyeshadow.

It was AWESOME. Sorry I don't have pics (like I said, the makeup job wasn't great, but the powder rocked!).

So I totally recommend trying mineral make up if you haven't yet!

I bought the starter kit. It was $60 and it came with 2 foundations in 2 different colors, glee (blush), warmth (bronzer), mineral veil, and 3 brushes.

I think it was a really good deal. I also bought a bare minerals eye shadow and brush for that. I splurged on myself on all new makeup.

I've been using bare minerals for a year now - and that's a long time for me not to get restless when it comes to make up. The coverage is great, it really creates a naturally flawless appearance. I got my mom, aunt, sister, and best friend using it. Love the eyeliner - it stays on longer than pencil and it doesn't really smudge.

I love Bare Minerals! My face has improved soo much since I started using it. Although, just for a test I bought Physician's Formula Mineral Foundation and it works just as well and is half the price. Things from Bare Minerals that I will NEVER give up:

Well Rested Powder: does wonders under the eyes

Warmth: Just gives you that nice summery Glow

Mineral Veil: The perfect finishing powder!

it's easy to find the right color because there aren't a million choices... of the 4 choices posted above, you just find the shade closest to your skin tone (you can ask the sales person for help if you're unsure) - and if you buy the starter kit, it comes with 2 shades so it's almost foolproof
