MiniMoon Help

Hi Ladies! I need you help.

Our wedding is on a friday night in November and we are staying in riverhead that night but want to leave to go somewhere the next morning and return sunday night because of work on monday. Anyone have ideas that are only a few hours away that can be a nice little getaway within killing the bank account?

I dont really wanna go to AC or Foxwoods tho something different.

What about staying out in Montauk or in one of the many, many adorable bed and breakfasts out east on either fork?

Newport, RI is beautiful and close. Also maybe the Catskills or Adirondack Mtns, the fall foliage will be in full swing!

Fh wont do out east because that to close to home he says

It's a really nice and romantic waterfront town nd it's about a 3 hour drive from eastern Nassau County. FH and I just went in May for the first time and loved it. We stayed at the Hotel Viking (found a great discount on orbitz.com) and it was sooooooooo nice!

Love Rhode Island!!! I second this choice. It will be a really nice drive up with all the leaves and everything too! You can take the ferry over too if you want to avoid the city traffic and then the drive won't seem as bad.

Montreal!!!! It's a bit of a drive (I think 5-6 hours) but it's absolutely beautiful there and if you go to Old Montreal it feels as if you're in Europe.
