Misspelling in my invitations!!

if you know everything I've gone through with my envelopes, you won't believe this! My invites are late as it is, so our invite company got them out to us right away. then we had to reorder them b/c of a mistake made in the time by the hall.

Now, I started stuffing them and realized accommodation is spelled wrong on our accomodation/direction cards!! I just want to cry. Now, we'll have to reorder the cards, pay for them (the mistake was our fault, we had several proofs and never caught it) and wait until next weekend to send them....

I just want to cry.

deirdre mail them I would never have noticed it. I don't think people will be reading that one word to closely -- if it were um, your name, the name of the place or something like that-- OK then maybe but truthfully once I decided about the hotel I would never look at that side of the card again.

Don't stress over it sweetie. I really don't think anyone will notice!

Honestly, I would leave it. Nobody will notice, or care! I don't think it's worth sending your invite out late. If it was on the actual invite, I'd worry, but since it's on an insert, I think it's fine.

I was just reading your post..you sound a lot like me. I understand wanting the spelling to be perfect, but, the mistake is so MINOR...mail them out and try to completely forget about it. It is not worth the stress and money. Like the others have said, as long as it is not on the actual invitation itself- let it go. Good luck!

You should have posted it and asked us to find the mis-spelt word. I doubt it very highly that anyone will notice that missing M. Don't sweat it. Take care

i think i am a pretty critical person and a good speller, and I didn't catch it at all - no none will be scrutinizing them - and I think you will have more agita worrying about re ordering them and sending them out later than you would about sending them out like that!

I have to say that I won a lot of spelling bees as a kid and I never would have noticed that mistake. I'm sure most people if they looked at the word would think it was spelled right anyway.

The church was misspelled on my wedding invitation. I reordered because even though most people wouldn't notice it, I knew it would bother me. You need to do what is going to make you feel best!
